I had the good fortune of working on a great team as a police inspector in London’s police to support culture change and improved public safety across the city. The work was demanding and complex: the team needed to operate efficiently and sensitive to diverse stakeholder expectations. We were effective not just because we achieved our goals. We also intentionally set about to create and maintain a strong team spirit supporting one another when we faced hurdles.

Fast forward several years, I have worked with organizations across all sectors in the US and abroad, drawing on that early career experience and helping multiple teams create the conditions for a positive and profoundly meaningful experience.

Teams have it hard. A lot is expected of them with constant change and competing priorities. The ROI investing in developing good teamwork is high.

Our mission in working with leaders and teams through team coaching, leadership coaching and a variety of team development models is to build the right framework in which solid teamwork can thrive. Thriving is more than delivering on expected results. It means team members grow and build the wherewithal to feel constantly energized, to turn frustrations into a sense of personal fulfillment, and be prepared for the next challenge.

Our approach begins with two core questions:

I draw on personal experience and a rich palette of learning as an accredited coach (PCC) with the International Coaches Federation (ICF), an authorized issuer/facilitator of Everything DiSC, a Partner/Certified Practitioner of The Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team with Wiley & Sons, a certified facilitator for Team Coaching International and in Organization & Relationship System Coaching (ORSC).
