I had the good fortune of working on a great team as a police inspector in London’s police to support culture change and improved public safety across the city. The work was demanding and complex: the team needed to operate efficiently and sensitive to diverse stakeholder expectations. We were effective not just because we achieved our goals. We also intentionally set about to create and maintain a strong team spirit supporting one another when we faced hurdles.
Fast forward several years, I have worked with organizations across all sectors in the US and abroad, drawing on that early career experience and helping multiple teams create the conditions for a positive and profoundly meaningful experience.
